As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Security Certification Specialist to join our development team and play a crucial role in ensuring the security compliance of our products.
Position Overview:
As a Security Certification Specialist, you will be responsible for navigating the complex landscape of security certifications, specifically focusing on WP R155/156, ISO 24089, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434. You will be a part of an in-vehicle development team, along with code development, your focus area would be security and compliance aspects of code.
Responsibilities:
- Security Certification:
- Lead engineering team with respect to security certifications, including WP R155/156, ISO 24089, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434
- Stay updated on the latest security standards and regulations relevant to SDV
- Engineering:
- As a part of the development team you are expected to be involved in development of new features
- Integrate security measures into the design and development process
- Conduct security assessments for development team deliverables
- Certification Process:
- Work with cross-functional teams during certification process
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain documentation to demonstrate compliance with security standards.
- Ensure that SDV products adhere to security best practices.
- Awareness:
- Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the automotive security landscape.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related fields
- Proven experience in managing security certifications, particularly WP R155/156, ISO 24089, and ISO 21434. ISO 26262 certification experience is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in C /C++ development. Hands on coding (at least 50% of time is expected to be spent in coding)
- System knowledge – ASIL B, C or D system
- Hand on experience on Linux, embedded Linux or QNX
- In-depth knowledge of automotive security standards and best practices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret security requirements and translate them into actionable steps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working with SDV startups or in the automotive industry.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or relevant certifications related to automotive security.
