Team Leadership and Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers focusing on Kubernetes and Golang development. Foster a collaborative environment and promote best practices in software development and operations.
Architectural Design and Strategy
Oversee the design and implementation of scalable and resilient microservices and applications using Golang, deployed on Kubernetes. Define and drive the technical roadmap for Kubernetes-based infrastructure and cloud-native solutions.
Development and Operations
Guide the team in developing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes Operators, controllers, and other cloud-native components using Golang. Ensure the operational stability, performance, and security of Kubernetes clusters and applications.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with product managers, other engineering teams, and stakeholders to define requirements, deliver solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Technical Excellence
Promote and enforce coding standards, testing methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and other engineering best practices within the team. Stay current with emerging technologies in the Kubernetes and Golang ecosystem.
Experience
10+ years of hands-on experience + 2+ years of managerial experience. Extensive hands-on experience with Golang for backend development and building cloud-native applications. Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting.
Technical Skills
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, Operators, etc.), containerization technologies (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in Golang, including concurrency patterns and performance optimization.
Soft Skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage projects, prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
